Moodle activity for Stream customers

Stream Voice

An oral defense of the work a student submits, inside the Moodle course they already use.

The student submits a file. After submission the file locks. A short defense then opens: preparation time with speaker notes, then a timed recording for each question. Stream transcribes the answers, checks that the explanation matches the locked file, and returns a score to the gradebook.

A question from the submitted work, then a recorded answer
Submit and lock The file stays as it was submitted. It cannot be replaced once the defense starts.
Questions from the work Questions are drawn from the submitted content. The lecturer can also set fixed questions.
Preparation, then recording The student gets preparation time, then a timed recording for each question.
A course grade Transcription and a comparison with the locked file become a score in the Moodle gradebook.

For courses that already run on Stream

Stream Voice is an activity inside Moodle, next to the video tools you already use. It needs the Stream connection that is already configured for the site. Installing the activity does not replace capture, captions or the media library.

The check is whether the student can explain and justify the work. It is not a detector for who wrote the file.
